The entertainment company Walt Disney created a center of Prague in game development for Internet and multimedia mobile phones.
The communications and entertainment group Walt Disney decided to install American in Prague (Czech Republic) its European center for development of games for internet and mobile phones, announced on Wednesday 21 in a statement.
Disney aims to expand its studies that already exist in Prague and increase its payroll to bring the Czech capital at the same height as the city of Los Angeles (USA), Tokyo (in Japan) and Beijing (in China ), which has similar centers.
Jeri Rosencrantz, director of the subsidiary of Disney Mobile Games Studio in the Czech capital, said that “one of the factors that contributed to the choice of Prague is the existence of a pool of talented young researchers in the country.”
This company provides more than quadrupled its turnover in the area of games for mobile phones, which increase from 2,100 million dollars, which recorded sales in 2006, to 8400 million by 2010.
According to Disney mobiles are becoming “very attractive to players such as larger screens and new generation platforms will enable a better quality and greater complexity.
