450 million Spanish speakers that are not their language needs are covered on the internet. The English and the Chinese will eat ground into the language of Cervantes and the potential expansion is restricted. The Fondue BBVA, Spain in collaboration with Accenture, Red.es and the Foundation of the Autonomous University of Madrid made up this challenge and has decided to harness the pull of social networking and interactivity to create Wikilengua.
Wikilengua, following the model of Wikipedia is a website that is discussed and reflected on the views and use Spanish. The contents will be made by Internet users who may also expose their doubts and become a tool to improve and facilitate the use of language. Given the doubts raised the credibility of content, as usual with lots of information hung on a network, you can breathe quiet because the SAR is responsible for filtering the comments, which will provide the project a committee of experts.
In the words of Alex Grijelmo, president of the agency Fee and BBVA Fondue vice president, “is an encyclopedia Wikilengua participatory Spanish language not intended to replace the language institutions or a reference work or a doctor, nor a manual, but a living organism.” Wikilengua is because not only will act as a center of debate for speaking Spanish, but returning to the place it deserves on the Internet.
