Produce
We grow over 30 different certified organic vegetable crops, starting many of them in our 30' X 96' greenhouse. Compost, cover crops, and rotation with animals provide the fertility for our premium quality vegetables. We do most of the bed preparation with an old John Deere 3010 diesel tractor. Our produce is available at the Santa Fe Farmer's Market and through our CSA subscription program.

Flowers
We grow dozens of different cut flowers both annual and perennial, outside and in our greenhouse. We sell flowers by the stem and in bouquets.

Eggs
Our chickens always have access to fresh green pasture where they scratch and peck at greens and insects. We move them frequently which distributes their manure around our fields for added fertility while preventing disease problems. Our eggs have dark orange yolks and are better tasting than anything you can purchase in a store

.

Beef
We model our cattle system after one of the most incredible ecosystems America has known: the buffalo of the American Midwest prior to European settlers. These huge herds of buffalo would move into an area of grasslands and completely eat everything to the ground. This would actually stimulate plant growth as new shoots have access to light and manure is dropped speeding the nutrient cycle. The key is that the buffalo would not return to a given site for a long time, giving the pasture time to recover. One animal on a pasture for 100 days can be much worse for the grass than 100 animals on a pasture for one day. We watch our pastures closely and move our herd every few days using portable electric fencing. The herd is not allowed to return to a pasture until it has had enough time to recover.
Our beef is slaughtered, wrapped and frozen at a certified and health department inspected slaughterhouse. We sell frozen grass fed all natural beef by the cut, by the quarter, half or full animal.
